Background - Michael Diaz

I was born in a small outskirt of miami, fl called winwood in april of 1985. Back then there wasn’t much there but now it’s actually a great place to check out art and music. Throughout my life I have always been fascinated with creating and it’s helped me to understand many things in life. It’s also a great way to venture into things that are not so understood and even misunderstood. One of the things I’ve loved about creativity the most is it’s ability to communicate with people around you while also being able to spark emotion.

While growing up I went to many schools and learned a lot about art with every class I took. I loved the classes, classmates and teachers deeply but the best art school I attended and am still taking classes from is life itself. Just like memories and experiences help form and shape who you are it also forms and shapes the notion of expressing anything you want creatively. I use the world around me and the world inside me to learn about creativity and of course to create. I enjoy it and I live it.
