Trying some new things
Currently I’m residing in DFW ,Texas while summer is just ending. It was the hottest summer in the history of Texas to but going by the average temperature lows and the second hottest going by the most numerous days of 100 degrees or higher temperatures. As you can imagine I sure am grateful its over; it was starting to feel rather unbearable.
I’ve been scouting out potential studio spaces to work on big projects and have only seen a couple of them so far. Apparently art studio spaces around here are hard to come by or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places. With a little more luck I believe I’ll find the right place soon though.
When thats done I’ll be able to get to the real work and getting back to painting. I feel that some of my best work is yet to come.

Nature has always intrigued me. Every chance I get I try to embrace it and if I’m lucky I’m carrying a camera to take photos of what has caught my attention. In this case its the sky.

I’m completely and utterly in love with type. How letters form and flow to form phrases and sentences and then to embody meaning and emotion. The ability to express language visually has always fascinated me. Sometimes the way something is written changes the meaning of what is actually being written. It can be used in the same fashion as spoken language and it can take you on a hold of you if it wants to. Here are some interesting examples.
